The Covenant of Jesus' Love In Our Marriage!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to celebrate our wedding anniversary on May 30th, 2025. Nevertheless, we didn't give up on the spirit of celebrating, being grateful, and being intentional about remembering God’s gift of covenant love.

Psalms 91:11-12

The Message Bible

He (Jesus) ordered His angels
to guard you wherever you go.

If you stumble, they’ll catch you —
their job is to keep you from falling.

You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

Amplified Bible

For He (Jesus) will command His angels in regard to you,
to protect and defend and guard you in all your ways
[of obedience and service].

They will lift you up in their hands,
so that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone.

Before the stars were named or known,
Before the dawn first broke its tone,
You spoke a vow that time won’t fade —
A covenant of love You made.

Not written ink on stone or scroll,
But sealed within the human soul,
Your promise carved by nail and thorn,
Love everlasting, mercy born.

You bound Yourself with crimson thread,
Through every tear the Savior bled,
And in that blood, so pure, divine,
You wrote forever next to mine.

When I am faithless, still You stay,
Your steadfast heart won’t turn away,
For every failure, grace runs deep —
Your covenant my soul will keep.

No grave can break, no night can move,
This endless vow of holy love,
The cross, the tomb, the risen King —
My heart rests safe beneath Your wing.

So let the heavens pass away,
And time itself forget the day —
Still one truth stands, still one song proves,
I live because my Jesus loves.

We remain in this covenant of marriage because JESUS

You have woven our hearts with threads of grace,
Two souls now bound in love’s embrace;
Not by mere vow or fleeting breath,
But sealed in life, and love, and death.

As You, O Christ, the Church adore,
We’re called to love forevermore;
Through joy and trial, loss and gain,
Your covenant love will still remain.

Make us one heart, one hope, one flame,
Refined and pure in Jesus’ name;
For in this union, we will see —
Your holy love, our destiny.
