Building Lives

Invisible But Tangible

On one of my travels, I got the backmost seat on the flight. I casually asked to change my seat, hoping to get another seat just a little ahead, not very far from where I got my initial seat.

To my surprise, the air hostess gave me the first seat on the flight. I got two seats to myself as the seat next to me was vacant 😍. I was shocked.

We can go around our day casually or be aware of God’s love surrounding us, his favor covering us like a blanket.

Psalms 5:12

Lord, how wonderfully you bless the righteous. Your favor wraps around each one and covers them under your canopy of kindness and joy.

Different Bible Translation of Psalms 5:12, especially the second verse

Your love protects them like a shield.

You will cover them all around with Your favor.

You surround them with your shield of love.

Psalm 5:12

But let all who take refuge in You rejoice!
Let them always shout for joy!
You will shelter them, and they exult—those who love Your Name.

I wanted to search for the meaning of exulting, and I came across this definition:

EXULT is to be extremely joyful: rejoice.

to be joyful or jubilant, especially because of triumph or success

to show or feel a lively or triumphant joy;

When we become aware Jesus covers, shelters, and protects us, we will exult, i.e., have irresistible, triumphant joy that defies human reasoning and logic.
