Colossians 2:15
His victory is my victory, for I was identified with Him. He conquered principalities and powers for me. He triumphed over them for me. His triumph was my triumph. I share in His victory. Satan is a defeated foe as far as I am concerned. Christ’s conquest was my conquest. Satan’s dominion over me has come to an end.
Hebrews 2:14
Satan was rendered powerless toward me by Christ’s victory. He has been dethroned, defeated, put to naught, made of no effect, overthrown, neutralized, paralyzed, crushed and put out of commission as far as I am concerned. I conquered him with Christ. Christ's victory was my victory because I was made alive and raised with Him.
I am meditating on this victory for me and trying to understand and grasp
- how real is this victory for my day to day life and living.
- What does this victory mean to me when I am struggling in some areas of my life to be aligned to God’s authentic design for me!
- How do I bring this victory into effect in my daily life?
Personally for me I have learnt to grasp a bit of this victory when dealing with sickness.
I am asking lord I want it more in my everyday ordinary things of my life.
Yesterday as I read about Christ coming alive in me (From Colossians 2:13 and Ephesians 2:5, it's in the blog titled "I was Made Alive With Christ") I heard Holy Spirit’s conversation.
One thing he asked me to do as I was considering cleaning my house. I didn’t obey.
I felt defeated as I woke up today and I read about victory in Christ.
Holy Spirit whispers - "you don’t bring yesterday’s defeat into today. Today is a new day and new beginning. He says - "His mercies are new every morning". Live with the New Mercy I have for you today than your old yesterday’s defeat."
Yesterday's Old defeat is crucified with Christ
Today's New Mercy is in resurrected victorious Life
Hallelujah.. Thanking God for His New Mercies Every Morning that I get to live with the resurrected victorious life in Christ!
